What’s new in Realsmart Sync and ADAdmin: autumn 2026
Microsoft 365 licences assigned automatically, a clear view of Entra sync problems, Google Classrooms that are ready for pupils, login sheets by form group, and more.
Microsoft 365 licences, handed out automatically
Realsmart Sync can now give every new pupil and member of staff the right Microsoft 365 licence, with rules for groups that need something different and a page showing who gets what.
Groups inside groups, now in Google and Microsoft 365
Put one group inside another in ADAdmin and the link stays live as your MIS changes. Google gets a true nested group, and Microsoft 365 gets the people, kept in step.
Logins ready for day one: release early accounts during the summer
Create accounts for new staff and accepted pupils during the summer freeze, so they can sign in before September, with a preview first and nothing else changed.
Choose exactly what syncs: group types for Google and Microsoft 365, and whose passwords Google gets
Pick which kinds of group reach Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, preview them before you save, and choose which user types have their passwords synced to Google.
Summer Google Classrooms on your terms, and last year’s back in bulk
Choose whether Google Classrooms are archived at the end of term, left active, or archived at the start of next term, override it for any group, and reactivate last year’s classrooms in bulk.
