Why use a QR code to login?
Sometimes remembering a password can be a bit tricky, especially for our younger users. Sometimes forgotten passwords can eat into lesson time as a regular occurance. Avoid lesson disruption by deploying our QR code login system in your school, print off some QR badges or stickers and you are ready to go!
QR code login gives pupils quick access to Google, and even to their Chromebook. It works alongside usernames and passwords, so pupils can use whichever suits them.
Log into Google or Chromebooks with QR Codes
Prepare your QR Codes
First select the students or classes that you would like to give the ability to login via QR code. Assign these students/classes the ability and then print off the codes.
Use the QR Code to login
Give each pupil their QR code, and they hold it up to the webcam or camera to sign in.
Let realsmart handle the rest!
Realsmart’s single sign-on takes pupils into Google Workspace or their Chromebook, and on to other apps such as ClickView and GCSE Pod.
